WWF's Earth Hour - CoDEStorm Plc support a blazing success! On Saturday 27th March 2010 at 8.30pm, CoDEStorm signed up, supported and spread the word for WWF's Earth Hour. Seven continents, 126 countries and more than 4,000 cities and towns took part in the event which asked people to sign up and switch off their lights for one hour to show that they care about tackling climate change. Our website, built in partnership with WWF-UK helped tens of thousands show their support by signing up. More than 45,000 online signups to WWF-UK's Earth Hour increased CoDEStorm's email traffic to over 400,000 in the last month! Claire Lowe, WWF-UK Web Producer, who worked very closely with CoDEStorm for the event had this to say:- "Just wanted to say thank you for all your hard work for us over the last few months in relation to Earth Hour. It's been a great success and I personally have been really pleased with the sign up form and in particular the support from Neil and the Team."
